Operation Christmas Child /Samaritans Purse
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We participated by helping to give shoe boxes out for our customers to fill full of items for a child. The organization provides the child's name & age with where they live and what they need. Packing the Shoebox is fun because you can choose to fill it full of anything you want in addition to share the Christmas Spirit with someone who otherwise wouldn’t get much (if anything at all) to open.
We loaded every single box that was filled with items from multiple different churches and organizations into our Beaver Creek Storage and Moving box truck. We then delivered them to the factory that was shipping them out to all the kids.

Muddy Mamas
The mission of Muddy Mama’s Mud Run is to create “bolstering camaraderie, empowerment and confidence. This event is about what women can do to inspire each other and to help the girls in our community”.

The mission of Muddy Mama’s Mud Run is to create “bolstering camaraderie, empowerment and confidence. This event is about what women can do to inspire each other and to help the girls in our community”. Unlike other ‘corporate mud runs, 100% of the proceeds from Muddy Mamas go to support programming at Girls Inc of Washington County.

Brooke’s House Yard Sale
“Hoarders in Paradise” yard sale for Brooke's House took place at our Virginia Ave. storage location. Community members purchased a "lot" for $30 to sell their items and that money went directly to Brooke's House. If anyone who had a lot chose to donate their earned money back to Brooke's House they were encouraged to do so.

“Hoarders in Paradise” yard sale for Brooke's House took place at our Virginia Ave. storage location. Community members purchased a "lot" for $30 to sell their items and that money went directly to Brooke's House. If anyone who had a lot chose to donate their earned money back to Brooke's House they were encouraged to do so. We had a great day. Brooke’s House is a home for adult women recovering from alcohol and substance use disorders. This is a cause close to the heart for Beaver Creek Storage and Moving.
The mission of Brooke’s House is to inspire and empower women suffering from substance use disorders by providing them a safe, stable and emotionally supportive living environment while in the early stages of recovery. We raised a total of $730.50 to give to the new women’s facility that has become a large part (and heart) of our community.
